How many African-Americans under 30 years old know about the “Little Rock Nine“? What about “Brown vs. Topeka Board of Education” Supreme Court decision in 1954? Our young adults need to know and understand recent Black History!

Many people in the past paved the way for Barack Obama to become the first African-American President.  Julian Bond was one such person. The New York Times describes Julian Bond as a charismatic figure of the 1960s civil rights movement, a lightning rod of the anti-Vietnam War campaign and a lifelong champion of equal rights, notably as chairman of the N.A.A.C.P.
